About the RoleCoventry City Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Help and Protection Team based within the Families For All Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic frontline service, helping to safeguard children and support families to achieve positive and lasting outcomes.Rate: 28.55 per hour (Umbrella)As a Social Worker within the Help and Protection Team, you will work directly with children, young people and families, undertaking statutory interventions and delivering high-quality social work practice.You will manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, safeguarding work and direct interventions for children and families with complex needs. The role requires confident decision-making, strong partnership working and a commitment to delivering child-centred practice.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with children and families in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory guidance and departmental proceduresUndertaking complex assessments and developing effective intervention plansManaging Children in Need and Child Protection casesDelivering direct support and interventions to children and familiesAssessing and managing risk to ensure the safety and welfare of childrenWorking collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomesSupporting families through legal planning processes where requiredPreparing reports and providing instructions to Legal Services for court proceedingsMaintaining ..... full job details .....
