Social Worker- Family Safeguarding
About the RoleOur support and safeguarding teams are nurturing and supportive with their own unique identities. They cover a large diverse county with several offices across Northamptonshire including; Northampton, Daventry, Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough. These teams support children and young people who are subject to a Child Protection Plan, Child in Need plan and, if appropriate, court proceedings. This kind of social work often takes place over several months and involves regular visits with families. About YouAs a Children''s Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a critical role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis. Your work will involve collaboration with various professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.
