Overview

Mental health services in Manchester are working towards Community Transformation; with a new framework the vision is for a place-based community mental health model. We are looking for a Social Worker to support service users in delivering high quality, person-centred, strength-based social care duties through empowering assessments and support for individuals within our Specialist CMHTs in North Manchester.We are committed to your wellbeing, training and career development. We offer you a place on our in-house ASYE programme or the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills by completing AMHP training, Best Interest Assessor Training and Practice Education. We have bimonthly AMHP and social work forums. You will have access to social work-specific supervision delivered by an experienced social worker. There are opportunities to be involved in research or to complete psychosocial intervention training.If you are compassionate, hardworking and motivated, this is the role for you. Support individuals referred to secondary mental health services for assessment or ongoing care.Demonstrate and live the Professional Standards identified by Social Work England.Work with individuals using research-based interventions to promote independence and recovery while maintaining high-quality clinical documentation.Respect individuality, values, cultures and religious diversity of clients and colleagues; contribute to a service sensitive to these needs.Qualifications
