Social Worker - Children''s Access Point (CAP) Assessment TeamLocation: The Guildhall, Swansea (Hybrid - office-based with flexibility, visits to be completed in a timely manner)Contract: Initially until the end of December, with the possibility of extension until MarchPay: £30.50 per hour (PAYE) / £38.43 per hour (Umbrella) - in line with the ADSS All Wales PledgeRandstad is partnering with Swansea Council to recruit a Social Worker for the Children''s Access Point (CAP) Assessment Team, working at the front door of children''s services to complete timely assessments and safeguard children.About the RoleAs a Social Worker within the CAP Assessment Team, you will:Undertake statutory assessments of children and families following referrals into Children''s Services.Analyse risk and need to inform decision-making and next steps.Complete visits, assessments, and reports within statutory timescales.Work collaboratively with partner agencies to promote positive outcomes.Manage a caseload effectively within a hybrid working model.RequirementsQualified Social Worker with a Social Work Degree or equivalent qualification.Experience within children''s services, ideally in assessment or safeguarding roles.Registered with Social Care Wales.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.A current and valid DBS check.Interested?All job descriptions are available.
