Social Worker - Children with Disabilities
About the RoleNorthamptonshire Children''s Trust is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join its Children with Disabilities Team based in Kettering.This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist service supporting some of the most vulnerable children and young people. You will manage a varied caseload involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, ensuring children receive the appropriate support, protection, and services to meet their individual needs.Working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment, you will play a key role in assessing needs, developing care plans, arranging support packages, and promoting positive outcomes for children and families.Location: William Knibb Centre, KetteringRate: 38 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: 37 hours per week Working Pattern: Hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days per week office-based at the William Knibb Centre Contract: Agency ContractKey ResponsibilitiesManage cases involving Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care.Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families.Assess needs and develop effective care and support plans.Arrange, review, and monitor care packages and short break provision.Complete statutory visits, assessments, reports, and reviews within required timescales.Work closely with education, health professionals, and other partner agencies.Contribute to safeguarding children and managing risk effectively.Ensure children''s voices and lived ..... full job details .....
