Social Worker Children

Social Worker job for a Social Worker to join the Children Safeguarding Team in Devon.

RATE: -Up to -40 per hour (dependent on experience)
TYPE: LOCUM Social Worker-
TEAM: Safeguarding Team-
HOURS: 37 hours per week
HYBRID: -(part office / part remote)

Key Responsibilities / Purpose:

• Deliver high-quality, effective social work services to children, young people, and families in line with statutory requirements.
• Complete robust assessments and deliver focused interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Promote integrated working with multi-agency partners in accordance with the priorities of the Safeguarding Children Partnership.
• Contribute to early intervention strategies that reduce the need for statutory involvement where appropriate.
• Ensure the voice of the child is central to all planning and intervention.

There are also additional roles within the Assessment and Intervention Team.

Social Worker Requirements

- -Proven experience in working with childrens services
- -Current enhanced DBS Disclosure
- -Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
- -Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
