Social Worker – Children in Care Team - Blackpool Council

Location: Blackpool
Pay/Salary: up to £ 39 per hour
Office Working: 2 Days per week
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Blackpool Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children in Care Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and an OUTSTANDING OFSTED, Blackpool are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their services.

Duties

• Undertake statutory visits, and assessments as a Corporate Parent
• Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
• Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
• Attending conferences, such as CIC reviews
   

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
