Our Children in Care team based in Stroud is looking for an experienced Social Worker who understands the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grit and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential. It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR''s (child permanence report) under supervision. They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans. The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office 3 days per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed.
