Social Worker

We are looking for an Experienced children''s Social Worker to the MASH team.Do not apply if you do not have a Social Work qualification with a minimum 3 years permanent experience with an English local authority. About the team:This service supports vulnerable children who may be at risk of significant harm and need protection, acting as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns. The MASH team reviews referrals, gathers information from partner agencies and helps identify the right support or safeguarding response for each child and family. Social Workers complete initial screening and risk assessments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a non-case-holding role with structured 9-5 hours and regular management oversight.About you:We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Social Worker who can work effectively within a children''s service. Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification, such as a Degree, DipSW or CQSW, and have a minimum of three years'' post-qualifying experience.
