Assessment of need, support planning, safeguarding, risk management, review of interventions, effective case load management and a rights-based and trauma-informed practice approach are key elements of the Social Worker role. The small team use harm reduction principles to shape interventions tailored to each individuals'' priorities and goals including Motivational Interviewing, the Cycle of Change and opportunity led work.
