We are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adult Safeguarding Team at B&NES.

Role Details
Position: Social Worker - Adult Safeguarding
Pay Rate: -35.00 per hour Umbrella
Location: B&NES
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - subject to negotiation and service requirements
Travel: Required to visit adults at risk travel expenses paid at the local authority rate
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role

The successful Social Worker will work within Adult Safeguarding, supporting adults at risk and ensuring their views, wishes and desired outcomes remain central to safeguarding practice.

The role will involve a combination of office-based and community work, including visiting adults at risk to discuss their circumstances, views and wishes.

Key Responsibilities
Undertake safeguarding work with adults at risk in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Visit adults in the community to understand their views, wishes and desired outcomes.
Promote strengths-based, person-centred and outcome-focused practice.
Work collaboratively with adults, families, carers and partner agencies.
Assess risk and contribute to appropriate safeguarding planning and interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
Work effectively with colleagues and partner organisations to promote positive outcomes for adults.
