      <description>Location: Shropshire | Salary: &amp;pound;41.42/hour | Type: Temporary | Our client Shropshire council are looking for a Social work Team manager to join their Children looked after service.   Driving Licence Required: TM''s may need to visit families with the SW as required and chair meetings in person   Working/ Hybrid Arrangements:   Office based one day per week  Face to face team meetings on a monthly basis  Face to face managers meetings once per month  Quarterly directors assurance face to face  There may be additional times that the team manager needs to travel for case purposes such as chairing meetings in person, attending court etc.    Job responsibilites   To provide management cover to an additional capacity team with responsibility for looked after children.   Supervise a team of 7 social workers, meeting the requirement for all children to receive supervision on a 4 weekly basis.   To chair multi-agency meetings in relation to permanence planning and risk management, providing comprehensive management oversight to progress young people''s plans.   To progress plans of SGO or discharges of care order, working with legal services to ensure this is progressed in a timely way.
