Family Practitioner - Ealing and Acton Children and Families Teams Location: Ealing and Acton Working Pattern: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week in the office We are recruiting for a Family Practitioner to join the Ealing and Acton Children and Families teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Work Assistant/Family Support Practitioner looking to progress, or a Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) who has completed a placement within a front-line Child Protection team. This role involves managing a caseload of children and families, delivering targeted interventions, and working alongside Social Workers and partner agencies to safeguard children and improve outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Undertake direct work with children, young people, and their families. Complete assessments, support plans, and case recordings to a high standard. Work in partnership with social workers and multi-agency professionals. Ensure all practice complies with safeguarding and child protection procedures. Maintain accurate records using electronic case management systems. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Experience working with children and families in a statutory or closely related setting. Experience managing your own caseload.
