Band 4 Social Work Assistant (Contact Worker) - Belfast Support Children and Families Stable Hours Competitive Pay We are currently recruiting Band 4 Social Work Assistants (Contact Workers) to join a busy and supportive Children''s Services Team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within statutory social services while making a real difference to children and families. Location: Belfast Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: £14.06 per hour Mileage: 58p per mile The Role: As a Contact Worker, you will support Social Workers and Managers in delivering high-quality services to children and families. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, positive, and well-managed contact arrangements. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting Social Workers in the delivery of Children''s Services Supervising and facilitating family contact sessions Completing allocated tasks to support casework Recording and reporting observations accurately Working closely with families, carers, and professionals Supporting safeguarding and child protection processes Maintaining professional and confidential records Essential Criteria: 3 years'' experience in a social care role NISCC Registration Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance Willingness to complete mandatory in-house training Willing to complete an Enhanced Access NI check annually What''s in it for you?
