Be at the forefront of driving our company strategy and growing our business by winning work for our teams. You will work with a driven, agile, disciplined team to deliver social value throughout the sales process and tender responses.What Youll Do (Responsibilities)
Embedding our social value approach within sales, articulating and defining our added value for UK clients and opportunities across the regionDeveloping winning social value offers, and authoring clearly defined thoughtful responses aligned with commercial goals and wider business prioritiesManaging the handover between sales and project delivery to ensure projects are set up for successEvaluating feedback and trends to evolve our approachDevelopment and maintenance of resources, knowledge management, training and tools to improve the sales and bidding process for social valueWorking with sales teams to promote and define our social value capabilities and contributionSupporting the gathering of evidence from across the business on social value performance and initiativesWhat you’ll need (Qualifications and Experience)
Previous Social Value Sales experience for the UK Infrastructure market is desirable, with a proven ability to produce social value procurement responses for large/complex projectsAbility to challenge and think strategically with strong communication and leadership to inspire othersClient-focused approach with the ability to author compelling social value responsesUnderstanding of social value challenges facing clients, knowledge of social value solutions, and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines/budgetsStrong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyGood interpersonal skills to lead meetings/workshops and build relationships across Growth and Sales and OperationsExperience engaging and working with supply chain partnersPotential and drive to grow within Jacobs’ Growth and Sales teamAdditional information
