Social Sciences Teacher (Psychology andamp; Sociology) andndash; Full-Time Role Starting September 2025 andndash; Medway

Are you a passionate and resilient Social Sciences teacher based in Medway, ready to hit the ground running this September?
Supply Desk is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving, inclusive secondary school in Medway seeking an exceptional teacher of Psychology and/or Sociology for a full-time role starting September 2025, continuing until at least Christmas, with potential for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging teacher who is confident in the classroom and open to taking on additional responsibilities as part of a dynamic Social Sciences department.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality and stimulating lessons in Psychology and/or Sociology to KS4 and KS5 students.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
• Show readiness to contribute to wider school life and assume additional responsibilities where needed.
• Demonstrate resilience and initiative in managing behaviour and promoting student progress.
• Support academic and pastoral aims in line with the schoolandrsquo;s values.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience delivering Psychology and/or Sociology at KS4 and KS5.
• A full-time availability from September 2025.
• Strong presence in the classroom with excellent behaviour management skills.
• A proactive and committed attitude, with a willingness to take on leadership or pastoral duties.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
