Social Sciences Teacher

Academics are searching for a Social Sciences teacher for one of our well-established schools in Wakefield. Your main responsibilities as a Social Sciences teacher will involve the following:Covering all aspects of Social Sciences including Sociology, Psychology, and Geography, across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5Supervising student''s behaviour and referring to the school''s behaviour management policy if requiredDevelop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standardsFollowing the schools safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe environment for the students Qualities and attributes we are looking for as a Social Sciences Teacher:Experience teaching Social Sciences up to A-Level, particularly Psychology.Excellent communication skills with a passion for making an impact on students'' livesA relevant degree related to Social Sciences accompanied with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply to one Why work for Academics and what are the benefits?
