Social Media Officer
Our three hospital charities fundraise so that Guy''s and St Thomas'' NHS Foundation Trust can go above and beyond for their patients. The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the Charities social media strategy, to support brand growth and fundraising objectives. The role oversees the creation of engaging, social-first content across multiple channels, ensuring it resonates with diverse audiences and drives meaningful engagement. The Social Media Manager manages day-to-day social media operations, including campaign planning, content workflows and channel performance, while also identifying new opportunities to expand reach and strengthen audience connections. A key focus is on using data and insights to understand audience behaviour, optimise campaigns and measure success. The Social Media Manager also plays a strategic and collaborative role across the Charities directorate, working closely with Experience and Engagement and Fundraising teams to align social media with wider organisational priorities. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing paid social activity, and acting as a subject matter expert to guide best practice and upskill colleagues. In addition, the Social Media Manager line manages a Social Media Officer and may occasionally be required to deputise for the Head of Digital Experience.
