Social Media Lead | 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to -45,000 | Hybrid: 2-3 days in the office | Start: September
We''re looking for an experienced Social Media Lead to join a growing marketing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role where you''ll lead the social media strategy while creating engaging content and driving community growth across multiple consumer brands.
The role:

• Develop and deliver organic and paid social media strategies.
• Create engaging social-first content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Plan and execute campaigns to support product launches and key commercial moments.
• Manage content calendars, reporting and performance optimisation.
• Build engaged online communities through creators, ambassadors and user-generated content.
• Support influencer activity and social commerce initiatives.
• Analyse performance, report on KPIs and identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, eCommerce and creative teams, as well as external agencies.

About you:

• Around 5+ years'' experience in social media, digital marketing or content.
• Proven experience developing successful multi-channel social strategies.
• Confident creating, filming and editing short-form social content.
• Strong understanding of paid social, analytics and emerging social trends.
• Commercially minded with excellent copywriting and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within consumer, retail, beauty, fashion or FMCG would be beneficial.
