SEMH Learning Progression Officer Education for Industry Group (EFI) Full-Time Fixed-term Contract until August 2026 FRA - Electra House, London - Moorgate, EC2M 6SE and LCBT - Fashion Street- London, E1 6PX About the role Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? The EFI is seeking a SEMH Learning Progression Officer to provide specialist support to Further Education students, helping them build emotional resilience and achieve academic success. You will deliver tailored interventions for individuals and groups, promote learner independence, and play a central role in supporting students with EHCPs. As a trained DSL and First Aider, you''ll be equipped to manage disclosures and uphold safeguarding practices in line with the EFI''s policies. You will also act as a valuable resource for staff, sharing your expertise and strategies to help students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. About you Qualifications: Relevant training or qualification related to the SEMH needs of children and young people, and trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and First Aider (or willingness to undertake this training.) Experience: Experience of working with vulnerable young people who present with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) and wellbeing needs.
