Adults Social Worker Walsall Location: Walsall Civic Centre, West Midlands Pay Rate: £28.40 per hour Umbrella Contract: Locum Hours: 5 days per week Working Pattern: Hybrid generally 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home Office Days: Monday and Wednesday Driving Licence: Required Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience (PQE) About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy adult social care team based at Walsall Civic Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, strengths-based and person-centred social work, supporting adults to achieve positive outcomes while promoting independence, choice and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Complete strengths-based and person-centred Care Act needs assessments. Undertake Care Act reviews and reassessments in line with statutory requirements. Complete Safeguarding Enquiries and contribute to safeguarding planning and interventions. Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments as part of the assessment and review process. Develop person-centred care and support plans based on identified needs, strengths and desired outcomes. Work collaboratively with adults, families, carers and partner agencies. Promote independence, choice, control and least restrictive approaches. Identify and utilise community and informal support networks where appropriate.
