We''re looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead and develop a Security Operations capability within a high-profile public sector environment.This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in cyber security operations, incident response, and SOC service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage an established Security Operations Centre (SOC)Develop and deliver the SOC strategy and operational roadmapOversee incident management and security monitoring capabilitiesDrive threat intelligence and cyber threat assessment activitiesManage cyber security tools and operational technologiesBuild and maintain relationships with MSSPs, vendors, and technology partnersEffectively plan and deploy resources to meet business objectivesEssential Skills and ExperienceProven experience as a SOC Manager (applications from SOC Analysts will not be considered)Strong leadership and people management experienceIn-depth knowledge of incident management processesExperience delivering effective security monitoring and threat intelligence capabilitiesHands-on experience managing cyber security tools and technologiesExperience working with external vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)DesirableCISSP, CISM or equivalent cyber security certificationCloud security experience (AWS and/or Azure)ITIL Foundation or equivalentDetails Remote (occasional travel may be required) Up to £850/day (Umbrella)Active SC Clearance is essential - applicants must ..... full job details .....
