Snr Front End Developer

Senior Front End DeveloperLocation: Milton KeynesWe are looking for an experienced Senior Front End Developer to take ownership of our front-end codebase and play a key role in developing high-quality, accessible and high-performing digital products.You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers and Back-End Developers to deliver new features, improve existing components and help shape front-end development standards. You will also take ownership of the front-end build pipeline, performance optimisation and our design system.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the front-end codebase, including maintaining, refactoring and extending UI components.Develop pixel-perfect, accessible and responsive user interfaces from design specifications.Lead front-end build and deployment processes, including build configuration and production optimisation.Champion accessibility, working to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.Develop and maintain automated component and end-to-end tests using appropriate testing tools.Conduct peer code reviews and help improve development standards and component architecture.Collaborate with back-end developers on API integration and data-fetching approaches.Monitor and optimise front-end performance, including Core Web Vitals, bundle size, lazy loading and rendering.Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the product''s design system and component library.Work with an external development team ..... full job details .....
