The role involves maintaining existing systems, ensuring governance and compliance, and driving data migration and optimization initiatives across Snowflake, SQL Server, and related technologies.### **Key Responsibilities****Database Management and Support**Administer and maintain Snowflake and SQL Server environments.Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.Monitor daily data operations and movements across Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and Kafka.Manage deployments, DR events, and RTL support.**Development and Optimization**Build and support ETL processes using SQL Server, SSIS, and Snowflake.Optimize database and server performance.Implement table partitioning, archiving, and purging frameworks.Develop and maintain file loading and automation frameworks.Minimize Azure SQL DB dependencies by migrating data into Snowflake.**Migration and Integration**Support ODS/Oracle to Snowflake migration (via ODI).Manage CRM and DR data migrations to Snowflake.Maintain and migrate legacy SSIS jobs; support server decommissioning.Support third-party integrations across multiple tools.**Governance and Security**Implement and monitor user access frameworks, roles, and permissions.Manage data protection, compliance, and auditing procedures.Prepare and maintain configuration and documentation standards.**Monitoring and Reporting**Develop observability solutions using Datadog dashboards.Monitor storage usage, costs, and optimization opportunities.Produce daily health reports and database monitoring alerts.### **Required Skills and Experience**Strong hands-on knowledge of **Snowflake** and **SQL Server** (including SSIS).Experience in **ETL, data migration, and performance optimization**.Familiarity with **Oracle, Kafka, ODI, and Azure SQL DB**.Proven ability in **incident, problem, and change management**.Good understanding of **data governance, security, and auditing frameworks**.Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., **Datadog**).**Job Title:** Snowflake and SQL Server Developer
