SMT Technician Roles and Responsibilities: Set up, operate and monitor SMT production equipment Run and maintain SMT production lines to achieve daily production targets Carry out changeovers, machine programming and product set-up Inspect assemblies and identify quality issues Complete routine maintenance and basic fault finding on SMT equipment Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve any manufacturing issues Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and IPC quality standards SMT Technician Ideal Candidate: Previous experience running an SMT production line (ideally 2+ years) Experience operating SMT placement machines and associated equipment Confident carrying out machine set-ups, changeovers and basic troubleshooting Able to read production documentation and follow work instructions High attention to detail with a strong f...
