This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, with the possibility of securing a permanent position for the right person. The RoleAs an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring surface mount technology (SMT) machinery to ensure high-quality PCB assembly production. You will work closely with the production team to maintain output, quality, and efficiency targets.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating SMT pick-and-place machineryLoading components and materials onto production linesSetting up and carrying out machine changeoversMonitoring machine performance and identifying faultsConducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing processReading and following work instructions and engineering documentationMaintaining a clean and organised work areaSupporting continuous improvement activities within production About YouThe successful SMT Operator will ideally have:Previous experience operating SMT machineryExperience working within an electronics manufacturing environmentKnowledge of PCB assembly processesStrong attention to detail and quality standardsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamGood communication skillsA proactive and reliable ..... full job details .....
