This is a hands-on role working within PCB assembly, where you will be responsible for setting up and operating SMT equipment and ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard. SMT Operator Roles and Responsibilities: Set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick and place machines, screen printers and reflow ovens Work from assembly drawings, technical instructions and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Identify electronic components and check boards for defects Carry out production work in line with agreed schedules and quality standards Ensure PCB assemblies meet IPC-A-610 requirements Follow all ESD, health and safety and company procedures Complete quality checks throughout the production process Attend daily team briefings and communicate effectively with colleagues Support continuous improvement activities within the production area Assist other departments and production teams when required SMT Operator Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in SMT or PCB assembly Good knowledge of electronic components, including re...
