This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for setting up and operating SMT equipment, supporting the production of high-quality PCB assemblies. The successful candidate will have previous experience within an SMT environment and a good understanding of the full SMT assembly process. SMT Operator Roles and Responsibilities: Loading and setting up feeders for production Setting up and loading PCBs for the production line Setting up and operating paste stencil equipment Creating and selecting programmes for production Loading stencils and setting up existing programmes Processing production jobs and cleaning stencils and associated tooling Setting up and operating SMT machines Creating machine programmes and carrying out job changeovers Running production jobs and ensuring machines are set up correctly Stripping down machines after production and returning components to kits in the correct order Operating the reflow oven to produce assembled PCBs Following work instructions and build documentation at all times Maintaining high standards of quality throu...
