Smoke Control Engineer – London - £46,000

We are representing a nationwide fire and security company that carries out the full fire and security Services From Design. Install To Maintenance Across The South East, due to sheer growth, they are seeking a smoke control engineer to join their growing team.

Salary Package:

- £40,000 - £46,000
- Travel Time Paid After A Hour Each Way Is Given

Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of smoke control systems, including:

- Stairwell pressurisation systems
- Smoke exhaust and makeup air systems
- Atrium smoke control systems
- Car park smoke ventilation systems
- Conduct periodic functional testing in accordance with approved smoke control rational analysis, IBC, NFPA 92, and local fire codes.

Verify operation of:

- Smoke control fans, dampers, actuators, and sensors
- Fire/smoke dampers and motorized control dampers
- Control panels, VFDs, and power supplies
