SME Broker / Handler - Bradford

OverviewOur client is a long established independent insurance brokerage based in the Bradford area. They have a reputation for being one of the regions, if not one of the UK''s leading insurance brokerages, boasting a very low staff turnover and a very high level of client retention.

They are very focused on looking after their staff, running "Wellness" programmes and providing a professional and enjoyable working environment with flexibility and the opportunity to work partly from home.

Role and ResponsibilitiesThis role sits within their commercial SME broking team and involves dealing with a relatively high volume of clients, mainly existing clients, making amendments to existing covers, working on renewals and liaising with insurers and clients on a daily basis. There will also be some new business work, providing new quotations and securing rates and covers with insurers.

Qualifications and ExperienceIdeally you will have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, having previously worked within broking, be smart, professional and heavily client focused. Previous use of Acturis and progress towards CII qualifications would be advantageous to your application, although not essential (system training can be provided and qualifications will be supported).
