      <description>Location: Torquay | Salary: &amp;pound;26000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our client is a technology company based in the Devon area.  They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice interested in gaining hands-on experience with Building Controls, automation, and specialist equipment. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team of Engineers in a newly created role, working under the guidance of the Controls Manager.  This apprenticeship offers long-term prospects and the chance to contribute to a company driving energy efficiency improvements across the Devon area   KEY DUTIES    	 Install and configure smart devices such as sensors, smart meters, thermostats, CCTV, lighting, and industrial equipment. 	 Set up networks that connect Internet of Things (IoT) devices. 	 Assist with calibration and testing of devices to ensure accurate performance and reliable connectivity.    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS   	 Independent skills 	 Team work skills 	 Organisational skills 	 Good written and oral communication skills 	 Self-Motivated 	 Passionate about technology</description>
