Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join our client’s busy bodyshop in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled cosmetic repair specialist to work within a professional workshop environment, delivering high-quality repairs to a wide range of vehicles.

SMART repair roles in the Stoke area typically offer £35,000 basic with OTE around £42,000, depending on experience and bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repairs including paintwork, bumper scuffs, scratches, and minor dent removal

• Prepare vehicles for paint and cosmetic refinishing

• Mix and match paint colours to manufacturer standards

• Repair minor body damage to panels, trims, and alloy wheels

• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Follow manufacturer and health & safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, Paint Sprayer, or Cosmetic Repair Technician

• Strong knowledge of paint processes and repair techniques

• Ability to complete high-quality repairs from start to finish

• ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
