The Opportunity

We''re working with a leading smart building and technology integration business delivering large scale, high specification projects across commercial real estate, hospitality, residential and data centre environments.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Pre Sales Designer to join their technical solutions team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex multi technology projects where you will play a key role across solution design, bid management, costing, technical consultancy and pre construction delivery.

You''ll work closely with sales, delivery, procurement and technical teams helping shape projects from early enquiry through to contract award and handover.

What You''ll Be Doing

* Designing integrated smart building and technology solutions
* Producing technical and commercial proposals
* Managing tenders, bid submissions and cost models
* Supporting client meetings and technical presentations
* Reviewing project risk, technical scope and commercial viability
* Supporting pre construction activities and technical handover
* Developing technical documentation and design packages
* Working across multiple technologies and project environments

Projects may include:

* Smart building integration and operational technology
* Structured cabling and ICT infrastructure
* Enterprise networking and wireless systems
* Access control and CCTV systems
* AV and collaboration technologies
* IoT and building monitoring platforms
* Data centre and critical infrastructure systems

What We''re Looking For

This role would suit candidates from backgrounds such as:

* Smart Buildings Pre Sales
* AV Pre Sales or System Design
* ICT Infrastructure Design
* Security Systems Design
* Technical Bid Management
* Pre Construction Engineering

You should ideally have experience with:

* Integrated technology solution design
* Technical estimating and costing
* Construction or large scale project environments
* Tender and bid management
* Client facing technical discussions
* Producing detailed technical documentation

Experience across multiple technology disciplines including AV, networking, structured cabling, IoT or electronic security would be highly beneficial.

* -45,000 - -70,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
