Smallworld Consultant

We are looking for a Functional Smallworld Consultant to support the delivery of complex geospatial solutions across major electrical utility projects in the UK and Europe. Duties and Requirements Lead and support requirements gathering workshops with business users, technical teams and project stakeholders. Analyse operational, functional and technical requirements across electricity distribution and transmission projects. Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process maps and solution specifications. Assess existing Smallworld processes, applications and data structures, identifying opportunities for improvement. Work closely with devs, architects, testers and project managers to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements. Act as the key functional link between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Support the design and configuration of Smallworld based solutions for electrical utility environments. Produce functional design documents, business requirements documents, use cases and acceptance criteria. Support data migration, data validation and data-quality activities where required. Assist with integrations between Smallworld and wider enterprise systems, including asset management, work management, outage management and network-modelling platforms. Support system upgrades, application enhancements and transformation programmes. Participate in solution demonstrations, design reviews and client presentations.
