TPT2299- Electrical Estimator, Small Projects Manager

My client is a well established family business based in Hemel Hempstead, who as part of their expansion are seeking a highly organised individual with experience of estimating on Construction projects and project managing smaller projects.-

This is an office based role using simPRO database and other estimating software, the role and responsibilities will include:-

• Produce electrical quotations for small projects
• Obtain costs/quotations from sub contractors and specialist material suppliers
• Build and develop relationships with suppliers and sub contractors
• Follow up all quotations
• Producing RAMS and Construction phase plan
• Attend pre start meetings usually online but occasionally face to face
• Procurement of materials and arranging logistics
• Record all projects
• Handover completed projects

The projects you will be working on will be dealing with electrical changeovers mainly and the projects will be around 2 weeks in duration.

Working in a great team based in Hemel Hempstead, Herts reporting to the MD.- Seeking a person with good experience in the electrical or contraction related industry who has worked in a similar role.- Must have exceptional communication skills and highly IT literate with a good knowledge of estimating software and/or simPRO.

Hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday, 20 days holiday, a days holiday for your birthday, private medical, pension etc-

Salary negotiable for the right person.
