Slitting Machine OperatorSalary: 13.50- 15.00 per hourHours: 48 hours per week 12-hour shiftsShift pattern: 06:30-18:30 / 18:30-06:30We are recruiting for a Slitting Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing and production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing, printing or warehouse experience who takes pride in producing quality work and maintaining high production standards.Previous slitting experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential for the right candidate.The RoleAs a Slitting Machine Operator, you will play an important role in ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.Key responsibilities include:Operating and monitoring slitting machinery to ensure efficient, continuous production.Ensuring daily production targets and schedules are achieved.Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process.Identifying and resolving machine issues quickly to minimise downtime.Adjusting, troubleshooting, cleaning and maintaining machinery where required.Monitoring material usage and helping to reduce waste, scrap and consumable costs.Completing accurate production records and system updates at the end of each shift.Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and ensuring the working area meets 5S and BRC requirements.Working closely with the Slitting Team Leader and Quality Department to resolve issues and improve processes.Following ..... full job details .....
