Slitter Operator

The Slitter Operator is a key member of the production team, responsible for operating and maintaining the slitter machine to cut large rolls of material (such as paper, film, or foil) into narrower, specified widths. This role is crucial for ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently, meet strict quality standards, and are prepared correctly for the next stage of production or for shipping.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation and Production:Set up and operation: You will set up and operate the slitter machine according to work orders and job instructions. This includes loading large "master" rolls of material, threading the material through the machine, and setting up the blades and machine controls for precise cutting.Quality and quantity: You''ll be responsible for meeting daily production targets for quantity while ensuring the finished product meets high-quality standards.
