Slitter Operator - Digital and Flexographic PrintJob Type: Full-timeLocation: North East EnglandWork Location: On-siteAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Slitter Operator to join a busy manufacturing and print production environment.The successful candidate will have experience operating industrial slitting machinery, ideally within a digital and/or flexographic print environment. You will be responsible for accurately slitting and finishing printed materials to customer and production specifications, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.This is a hands-on role suited to someone with good mechanical knowledge, strong attention to detail and experience working with industrial machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate slitting and finishing machinery safely and efficiently.Set up machines to achieve specified widths, lengths and production requirements.Monitor production runs and make adjustments where necessary.Carry out quality checks before, during and after the slitting process.Identify and resolve basic machine and production issues.Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and lubrication of machinery.Use hand tools and power tools safely during machine setup and maintenance.Fabricate or assemble components where required.Handle and move rolls and other production materials safely.Maintain accurate production and quality standards.Keep the production area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.Work closely ..... full job details .....
