Slitter Operator – Leeds
£13 - 14 per hour starting rate plus bonus scheme based on output
Shifts: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm rotating

A well established and forward thinking packaging manufacturer in Leeds is looking for an experienced Slitter Operator to join their production team. The company supplies high quality flexible packaging solutions to a wide range of industries and has an excellent reputation for both service and innovation.

The Role
As a Slitter Operator, you will play a key part in the production process, ensuring materials are cut and prepared to exact customer specifications while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate slitting machines to convert large rolls of material into finished rolls

• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet customer standards

• Monitor and maintain machine performance, reporting any issues promptly

• Ensure accurate labelling, packaging and dispatch of finished rolls

• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

• Work towards output targets with the opportunity to earn bonus payments based on performance

What They Are Looking For:

• Previous experience in a slitting, rewinding or similar machine operator role within packaging, print or manufacturing

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow production schedules

• Flexibility to work on a rotating shift pattern of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
