Slinger/Signaller

Job Title: Slinger / Signaller

We are currently seeking an experienced Slinger / Signaller to join our team on a National Grid project.

Requirements:

• Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger / Signaller qualification
• Previous experience supporting lifting operations on civil engineering or utilities projects
• Good understanding of lifting procedures, safe systems of work, and site health & safety requirements
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Duties:

• Safely sling and guide loads during lifting operations
• Communicate effectively with crane operators and the Lift Supervisor
• Ensure lifting accessories are inspected and used correctly
• Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials around site
• Follow lifting plans, site procedures, and National Grid safety standards
• Maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel
