We are currently looking for an experienced and safety-focused Slinger/Signaller to join a major heavy civils energy project . The role will involve the safe lifting, positioning and movement of large steel pipes and other heavy materials within extremely tight and congested working areas . This is a safety-critical position requiring a highly competent Slinger/Signaller who is confident working around heavy plant, cranes, restricted access areas and complex lifting operations. The successful candidate will work closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, site management and other trades to ensure lifting operations are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures. Key Responsibilities Safely sling, secure and guide large steel pipes and other heavy/awkward loads. Select and use the correct lifting accessories for each load and lifting operation.
