What you''ll be doing: Carrying out slinging operations on Fleet Time and Upkeep projects in Warships and Submarine Business UnitsSetting up safe exclusion zones for lifting operationsProducing basic lift and fleeting plansInspecting lifting equipment and quarantining any non-conforming itemsSupporting additional engineering projects as needed What we''re looking for: At least 2 years of prior Slinging experienceStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyAvailable immediately Must hold one of the following certifications: NVQ2 Moving of LoadsNPORS402 Slinger SignallerCPCS A40 / BlueOPITO Pay and Hours: £19.45ph, paid weeklyMonday to Thursday (0730am 1530pm) and Friday 0730am 1230pm35hours per week Successful candidates we be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff.
