      <description>Location: Scunthorpe | Salary: &amp;pound;20 - &amp;pound;23/hour | Type: Permanent | We are currently recruiting an experienced- Slinger / Signaller -for an exciting construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operative to join a busy site with ongoing work available for the right candidate.  Key Responsibilities    Safely sling and signal loads during crane lifting operations.   Communicate clearly with crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.   Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with the lifting plan and site procedures.   Inspect lifting accessories before use and report any defects.   Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health and safety regulations.   Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials around site.   Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure efficient operations.   Requirements    Valid- CPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller Card -or- NPORS with CSCS Logo .   Previous experience working on construction or civil engineering projects.   Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.   Excellent communication skills.   Full PPE.   Ability to provide recent work references. &lt;/ul</description>
