Job Title: Skills Coach Contract: Part time / 18.5 hours per week Location: Bath / Hybrid Salary: From £32,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience About the role We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Skills Coach to join our team and support learners undertaking AAT Level 3 and Level 4 apprenticeship programmes. The Skills Coach will take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices, supporting them from enrolment through to successful completion. Working closely with learners, employers and colleagues, you will provide high-quality assessment, guidance and support to help learners achieve their apprenticeship goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a learner-focused assessor who enjoys building strong relationships, supporting professional development and helping apprentices reach their full potential. Key responsibilities Manage a caseload of AAT Level 3 and Level 4 apprentices, providing consistent support throughout their programme. Complete learner sign-up, enrolment, gateway and completion documentation accurately and within required timescales. Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers, identifying achievements, challenges and appropriate actions. Assess portfolios and workplace evidence, providing clear, constructive and developmental feedback. Monitor learner progress against programme requirements, including off-the-job training and achievement targets.
