In this role, you will fabricate, weld and assemble structural steel components.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate structural steel: fabricate structural steel components from engineering drawings.MIG/MAG welding: carry out high-quality MIG/MAG welding on mild steel sections.Assemble steel frames: assemble steel frames for modular buildings.Welding & grinding: perform tack welding, final welding and grinding to specification.Equipment operation: use fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders and hand tools.Technical accuracy: interpret fabrication drawings and work to tight tolerances.Site installation: assist with the installation and erection of steel-framed modular buildings on site.Quality & compliance: ensure all work complies with quality standards and welding procedures.Teamwork: work effectively as part of a fabrication and installation team.Safety & housekeeping...
