Skilled Vinyl Applicator

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is currently recruiting for a Skilled Vinyl Applicator to join a well-established signage manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for quality and craftsmanship.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare, weed, mask, and plot vinyl graphics to a professional standard.
• Apply cut vinyl and printed graphics to a range of surfaces, including aluminium, acrylic, ACM, fascia signage, and 3D pictorials.
• Prepare and clean surfaces before vinyl application to ensure a flawless finish.
• Accurately follow digital job instructions and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation across all projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth project completion.
• Follow production processes and update job progress where required.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organised.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in vinyl application within signage or a similar production environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Experience applying vinyl graphics to multiple materials and surfaces.
• Ability to follow digital instructions and project specifications.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and confidence in taking on new challenges.
• Commitment to maintaining strong health and safety standards.

Location: Normanton, WF6
Employment Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: DOE
Working Hours: Rotating pattern - 7:00am-3:30pm one week, followed by 11:00am-7:30pm the next. Fridays are 7:00am-3:30pm.
