Skilled Tractor Driver

An established and progressive farming business is looking for an Experienced Tractor Driver to join its Farm Operations team.This is a varied, hands-on role working across vegetable and arable rotations, with access to a modern, high-specification machinery fleet and precision farming technology.The roleYou''ll play an important role across cultivations, crop establishment, harvest support and haulage, operating modern, high-horsepower tractors and heavy cultivation equipment.Key responsibilities will include:Primary and secondary cultivations and land preparationSupporting planting, crop establishment and harvest operationsHaulage and general field operationsUsing GPS and RTK auto-steering systemsDaily machinery checks, routine servicing and defect reportingMaintaining accurate field and operational recordsWorking closely with farm management and workshop teamsMaintaining high standards of machinery care and Health and SafetyWorking flexibly during peak seasonal periodsAbout youWe''re looking for an experienced tractor operator with a strong practical and mechanical aptitude, who takes pride in their work and machinery.You''ll ideally have:Proven experience operating modern tractors and heavy cultivation machineryExperience with primary/secondary cultivations and crop establishmentGPS or precision guidance experienceA full UK Driving LicenceGood mechanical awareness and attention to detailA strong understanding of Health and SafetyFlexibility around seasonal working ..... full job details .....
