Sheet Metal Worker Location: Essex Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Join a Leading Precision Engineering and Aerospace Manufacturer An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying high-quality components to the aerospace industry. Working within an AS9100-accredited manufacturing environment, you''ll be responsible for producing precision sheet metal components to exacting engineering and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator who enjoys working with precision materials and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. The Role Working from detailed engineering drawings, you will manufacture and fabricate precision sheet metal components, ensuring all work meets stringent aerospace quality requirements while maintaining production targets and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Interpret complex engineering drawings and aerospace specifications. Manufacture precision sheet metal components to tight tolerances. Set up and operate fabrication machinery including: Brake Press Promecam Press Rubber Press Guillotine Band Saws Measure, mark out and prepare materials in accordance with engineering drawings. Perform bending, forming, stretching and shrinking of aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel components.
