Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for a Skilled Print Finisher to work for a well established print finishing company based in Leicester

The Job:

You will be working as part of the print finishing dept

• • Operating various finishing machines: This includes guillotines, folding machines, binding equipment, and more.
  • Performing finishing processes: Tasks like perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting are common.
  • Ensuring quality control: Checking for defects and ensuring the finished product meets quality standards.
  • Maintaining and setting up equipment: Ensuring machines are in good working order and properly configured for each job.
  • Meeting production deadlines: Working efficiently to complete jobs on time 
  Skills and Experience Needed:
  • Experience with print finishing equipment: Proficiency in operating guillotines, folding machines, binding equipment, etc. is crucial.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy: Ensuring high-quality finished products requires careful attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Print finishers often work under their own initiative but also collaborate with others in the production process.
  • Problem-solving skills: Troubleshooting issues with equipment or processes is sometimes necessary.
