Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician Location: GKN Aerospace, Filton, BristolDuration: 12 Months OngoingStandard Hours: 35 per week SHIFTS and PAY Training (Core Days): Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)Rate: £20.17 per hour 7 Day Fort Day Shift (post-training): Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and SundayWeek 2: Thursday and FridayHours: 7:00am to 5:30pmRotating weeklyRate: £25.21 per hour Overtime: £30.26 per hour KEY SKILLS LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION IN A PAINT-RELATED DISCIPLINE IS ESSENTIAL, such as an NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, City and Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent Paint Spraying / Surface Finishing qualification.A recognised paint spraying indentured apprenticeship and ideally have previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment. PROFILE To operate as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Tasks will be undertaken and worked through the use of: SprayingPaint touch up and cleaning requiring the use of: Power toolingSolvents and primer paints are required KEY DELIVERABLES Ensure parts are produced on a ''right first time'' basisEnsure that any calibrated equipment used is within dateResponsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP systemResponsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team LeaderAdhering to the requirements of the GKNAF Quality ProceduresAccountable for Health and Safety requirements under Section 7 of the HASAWA 1974To hold first ..... full job details .....
